Product overview

Plastic honeycomb inclined (straight) pipes are most commonly used in water treatment reaction sedimentation tanks. It not only increases the water output per unit area of water treatment structures, but also reduces the floor space of structures, saves energy consumption, and can adapt to the turbidity of source water. The processing capacity is several times higher than that of advective sedimentation, accelerated sedimentation and pulse sedimentation, which has obvious social and economic benefits.


On the basis of the original hexagonal sheet inclined pipe, our company has developed a tubular honeycomb inclined pipe for different water sources. This product has the characteristics of uniform aperture and high strength and is widely used.


Product material

The materials of plastic honeycomb inclined (straight) pipe series products are divided into copolymer grade (ethylene propylene copolymer) polypropylene, ordinary polypropylene, non-toxic transparent PVC.


Product structure

1. The flaky inclined tube is made of plastic sheet and hot-pressed into a semi-hexagonal shape by special equipment, and then formed by welding.


2. The tubular inclined tube is made of plastic particles and processed into a tubular shape of the corresponding specification by an extruder, and then cut according to the required size, and then bonded into the unit as a whole required by the project.

Appearance quality requirements

The wall of the inclined tube should be smooth, no bubbles, no obvious difference in color, and there should be no obvious wrinkles or damage on the surface.


Precautions for installation and operation

1. The inclined tube sedimentation tank must have a solid support. When designing, the weight of the inclined pipe itself and the weight of the installer should be considered, and the weight of the overall downward pressure on the water surface when the mud is emptied should be considered.


2. When the inclined tube is assembled, the welding points should be uniform and firm.


3. The installation direction of the inclined pipe is opposite to the direction of the water flow. The inclined pipe should be installed tightly without large gaps to prevent short-circuit phenomenon.


4. After the inclined pipe is installed, the water should be released in time, and the liquid level should be submerged in the inclined pipe, and it should not be exposed to the sun.


5. The inclined tube sedimentation tank has higher requirements for sludge discharge, and should be regularly discharged and cleaned.
